Wah Loon was established as a sole proprietorship.

Wah Loon was established as a sole proprietorship.
1990
Wah Loon Electrical Engineering Pte Ltd was incorporated.
1993
Wah Loon began to offer integrated mechanical and electrical engineering services as a main contractor. Wah Loon undertook M&E work for the first oil and gas refinery plant – Caltex Asia.
1995
Wah Loon achieved S$12 million in turnover with a staff strength of 30. Wah Loon moved to new and larger premises at 15 Kaki Bukit Crescent, Kaki Bukit Techpark 1.
1996
Established Wah Loon Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru to penetrate the Malaysian construction market.
1998
Secured one of the largest landed development projects in Singapore, Villa Verde. In the same year, Wah Loon obtained the ISO9001:2000 certification.
2000
In anticipation of the strong demand for mechanical engineering services, Wah Loon expanded its scope of business to include the provision of mechanical engineering services.
2003
Established Wah Loon (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu. Wah Loon moved up the construction value chain from a sub-contractor to a main contractor to provide greater value-added services.
2006
Wah Loon’s turnover crossed S$50 million with a staff strength of 122.
2007
Wah Loon also achieved the BCA L6 grading under the M&E work head and was certified to assume the role of main contractor in construction projects.
2008
Established Wah Loon Plant & Instrumentation to capture the growing demand for process plants in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biologics and oil & gas sectors. The S$100 million turnover mark was crossed with a staff strength of 166.
2009
Wah Loon won 38th position in the Enterprise 50 Awards – in recognition of its business excellence and economic contribution to Singapore and abroad.
2010
Wah Loon won 10th position in the Enterprise 50 Awards and obtained the ISO9001:2008 certification. Wah Loon’s turnover exceeded S$150 million with a group staff strength of 277.
2011
In view of future corporate development and growth directions, Wah Loon Electrical Engineering Pte Ltd changed its corporate name to Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd to reflect its expanded scope and business expansion and moved to the current Wah Loon Building at 10 Tagore Drive.
